Teen Council                                                                                                        

Youth Leadership is key to the success of Lee's Summit CARES.  Youth bring creativity, leadership and energy to many of Lee's Summit CARES' initiatives that work to reduce and eliminate underage drinking and substance abuse in our community. 

Teen Council is comprised of high school students who work to provide activities and advocacy to promote a healthy and youth friendly environment.  The Community Safe Prom and Graduation campaign is designed each year by Teen Council.  Teen Council also hosts Youth Forums with local high school students to work on issues facing teens.  Teen Council meets once monthly during the school year.
