Marsha
Palmer-Thelwell is a Licensed Clinical Social
Worker with 20 years of experience in mental
health, social services, adoption and early
childhood education. She received her
undergraduate and graduate degrees from the
University of Oklahoma, where she originally
hails from.
Currently she is the program manager for
ReDiscover Mental Health, School & Community
Services.
She supervises therapists, case managers
and substance abuse prevention specialists that
provide services to students in the Lee’s Summit
school district as well as four other districts
& Hilltop Residential Treatment Center.
Marsha has extensive experience
working with a wide spectrum of children, adults
and families in a variety of settings. She has
developed and implemented programs locally and
also during the time she lived in California.
She has served on several community-based
committees, advisory councils and boards
throughout the Kansas City area.
Marsha and her husband, Dwight
Thelwell have been Lee’s Summit residents since
2001. |
