The City of Lee’s
Summit has awarded ReDiscover funds for families
who meet low to moderate income criteria to
attend the Love and Logic parenting classes. Any
cost for childcare that is provided at these
classes will also be covered for families who
qualify. To use City funds applicants must live
at a Lee’s Summit residence.
Lee’s Summit CARES
will provide scholarships to families who meet
the same income criteria and reside within the
Lee’s Summit School District boundaries but not
at a Lee’s Summit address. (Ex. Greenwood,
Lakewood….)
To qualify applicants must:

Complete and sign the
INTAKE form.

Provide Proof of
Identity. A copy of a picture ID is
required.

Provide Proof of Income.
A copy of a recent pay stub or previous tax
return is required or other documentation that
addresses the person's financial situation.
There are three ways to complete this
qualification process:

INTAKE form here
and mail to ReDiscover.

Visit ReDiscover and a
receptionist can assist you (see address
below). Hours are Monday-Thursday 8:30am
- 6:30pm, Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm.

A school counselor or
school administrator can assist you.
All paperwork must be returned to the below
address prior to the beginning of the program.
Applicants
CANNOT attend the program until this process is
complete and the applicant(s) is determined
eligible.
