Lee’s Summit CARES
is committed to making programs available to
Lee’s Summit residents regardless of ability to
pay. To do this CARES has secured funds through
the Milton Feld Trust to provide scholarships
for individuals and families to attend Love and
Logic parenting classes. The scholarship will
also include the cost for on site childcare if
needed. To qualify, families must reside within
the Lee’s Summit School District boundaries and
meet moderate income criteria as outlined on the
Scholarship form.
A family may qualify for a scholarship that does
not meet moderate income criteria but due to
their unique circumstances needs financial
assistance. These scholarships are determined on
a case by case basis.
To qualify applicants must:

Complete and sign the
Scholarship form.

Provide Proof of
Identity.

Provide Proof of Income.
Examples include: recent pay stub, previous tax
return, disability or unemployment check
(copies can be made at ReDiscover).
There are two ways to complete this
qualification process:

Complete the
qualification process at ReDiscover.
ReDiscover is located south of Walmart at
901 NE Independence Ave. Hours are Monday-Thursday 8:30am
- 6:30pm, Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm.

A school counselor can
verify your information and fax it to Bev
Hatley @ 816.347-3200.
It is the responsibility of the scholarship
applicant to ensure all information is received
at ReDiscover prior to the beginning of the program.
Applicants
CANNOT attend the program until this process is
complete and the applicant(s) is determined
eligible.
