Julie Doane

Julie Doane is the Business and Community Development Coordinator with Missouri Central Credit Union.  As a life long resident of Lee's Summit, Julie has become involved with many organizations and serves on the Board of Directors with the Lee's Summit Chamber, President of the Lee's Summit West Booster Club, Enriching Lives through Music Foundation, Lee's Summit CARES, Lee’s Summit Medical Advisory Board Member, and a past Member of the Our Lady of the Presentation School Board. Julie was honored by the Chamber with the "Volunteer of the Year Award" in 2007.

Julie has served on many community committees such as R-7 Boundary Team, Logo Design Team, Building our Future Campaign, Citizens Advisory Committee, Community of Character Business Sector, along with LS Chamber's Ambassadors, Education, Strategic Planning, and Oktoberfest.  Julie serves as the Scholarship Chair for Kansas City Credit Union Chapter. Julie has also been involved as the LS West Softball Booster Representative and coached volleyball in the Parochial league for numerous years.  Julie graduated from Lee's Summit High School and the University of Central Missouri.  While at UCM she was a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma and now serves as an Advisor to her sorority. Julie has been married to her husband Eric for over 21 years and they have two daughters, Erica and Abigail.

Julie feels that she should give as much back to this community, as she has received so much by living here.
