Joe Snook

Joe Snook
Joe Snook was born and raised in
Great Bend, KS and attended Bethany College in
Lindsborg, KS. Joe received his Bachelor of Arts
degree in December 1989. While at Bethany, Joe
played football and threw the javelin and hammer
for the track team.
After college Joe attended the University of
Central Missouri where he
earned a Master of Science degree in Exercise
and Sports Science. His
work experience includes working for the
University of Missouri-Columbia as the Facility
Coordinator for the Student Recreation Center,
Health Club Director for the El Dorado Health
Club in El Dorado, KS, Special Projects
Coordinator for OrthoTech Sports Medical, and is
currently the Assistant Administrator of Parks
and Recreation with the Lee's Summit Parks and
Recreation Department. Joe has also worked as a
personal trainer and nutritional consultant and
has presented at state and regional conferences
on such topics as customer service, interviewing
skills, and sponsorship development.
Joe volunteers his time as a youth sports coach
and is currently on the
Board of Directors for Water District 14.
Joe is the proud father of two boys; Jarod and
Jaylen. In his spare
time Joe likes to ride his mountain and road
bikes, play racquetball,
life weights and have fun with his boys.
