Janet Krueger graduated from Valparaiso
University in Indiana with majors in psychology
and theology and earned a master of social work
degree from Kansas University School of Social
Welfare. She also earned a certificate in
family therapy in the Menninger Family Therapy
Training Program for Community Practitioners.
Ms. Krueger provided inpatient and outpatient
treatment care to youth and families in the
Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at
Kansas University Medical Center for a total of
seventeen years and has directed the residential
therapy program as Clinical Director in the past
at Marillac and at the present time at
Crittenton. Ms Krueger taught Social Work
Practice for KU School of Social Work for ten
years at the Edwards Campus and has served as a
field instructor for MSW interns as well.
At the present
time Ms. Krueger is the Clinical Director for
the Residential and Community Based Programs at
Crittenton Children's Center near Longview
Lake. Crittenton is part of the Saint Luke's
Health System and serves children and
adolescents who have been abused, neglected or
have mental health problems.
