Cheryl Nash

Cheryl Nash joined Lee's Summit CARES as Program Coordinator in June of 2004 and held that position through February of 2008.  She holds a BS degree in Business Communications and and BS in Computer Science from Southwest Missouri State University.  She began her business career at Payless Cashways Corporate Headquarters in the Information Systems Department as a programmer analyst and left the company as a Systems Development Manager, Merchandising and Marketing Systems.  During her 13 year tenure at Payless Cashways, Cheryl worked directly with senior management and user groups to develop solutions to business problems.  She was responsible for the design, development and maintenance of all systems that interfaced with merchandising and marketing areas of the company.

In 1997, Cheryl became an Independent Consultant for Payless Cashways so she could divide her time between work and family.  In 2002 she became cofounder and owner of a startup custom catering business.

Cheryl has volunteered in several capacities, serving as PTA Treasurer, PTA President, chairing various committees and serving on the Lee's Summit R-7 Cost Containment Committee and Logo Design Committee.
