Mayor's Character Breakfast

In January of 2004, Lee's Summit CARES hosted the first Mayor's Character Breakfast.  Since then the breakfast has grown to an annual event with over 400 people attending.  The breakfast is a celebration of character in the Lee's Summit community.  The morning begins with a motivational keynote speaker and continues with the Reflections of Character awards.  Recipients of the Reflections of Character award are nominated by their peers.  The nominations are carefully reviewed and scored by a committee to arrive at the most deserving of our residents.
